Searching for natural wine connections....
I’m on a mission to aggregate blog rolls and natural winery databases. We blog to communicate about what we are passionate about. If natural wine is one of your passions, let’s connect this global interest in some way. email: arnold@waldstein.com blog: http://arnoldwaldstein.com
Wine and snacks @ Ten Bells. Broome and Ludlow on...
I’m late to the party of regulars at Ten Bells Wine Bar.
Great spot. Super snacks. Comfy. Massive list of natural wines. Smart guys working the bar who went deep on my questions on the wine list. Bring a group as the wines by the bottle are much better than by the glass.
Try it…invite me and I’ll come split a bottle with you :)

– Great article by Jonathan Jones from the Guardian.
It made me want to go the the Moma exhibit again this weekend for the nth time.
This is an amazing parable from a TED talk by Dan Barber. A disclosure—I had trouble initially as my distaste for the process of making foie gras is palpable, as it is for all food that is unnatural and inhumane.

Goodbye Macbook Pro; Hello Macbook Air
Made the leap from a 15-inch Macbook Pro to the fully loaded 13-inch Macbook Air yesterday.

Thanks to all friends who steered me away from the 11 inch...
Somebody said of email, “It’s the place for hope in life.
– From an interview with Sherry Turkle in Fast Company. I don’t agree with her point of view generally, but this is a great quote and a stimulating discussion.

Starbucks is announcing today that it will let shoppers buy coffee at its stores nationwide with cell phones instead of credit cards or gift cards.
Nothing radical. Seems obvious, but will change how we buy.
Starbucks, like Apple, provides innovation and convenience by controlling the infrastructure.
Must admit that I embrace Apple products for what they give me but almost never drink...
A great Cotes de Provence from Dupere Barrera!
I happened on a bottle (actually two of them!) at Balaboosta in NoLiTa.
This is a remarkable bottle of Cotes de Provence. The Barrera’s are negociants and dedicated to natural winemaking with grapes from a number of growers. The wine is layered. Peppery. Alive in the glass. Great stuff.
A wonder with the crispy cauliflower and hummus at Bababoosta. If you haven’t tried this...
